After many years of practices, tournaments, and playing the game the Cobra Kai way, we are excited to highlight the girls who have committed to playing at the collegiate level. We share the excitement with our Cobra Kai players as they get ready to play at the next level. Many were told this could never happen, believing in yourselves and your teammates made it happen. Cobra Kai Pride - Class of 2022'

After 2 days into the recruiting process – Junior attacker Callie Drab 22’ has announced she has committed to University of Delaware. Athletic, smooth and dynamic, this Cobra Kai product can create from all spots of the field with either hand. Callie put on a show playing with Team 22’ this past season, demonstrating an excellent motor, footwork, range and strength to overpower her opponents. She also demonstrated a strong prowess dodging the alleys, as well as toughness and lacrosse IQ .When surrounded by the right players, “Cal-Banger” is difficult to stop. Recently coming off a Regional Championship for Team NJ at the All - American tournament, Drab is moving on to the next round on Oct 1st. The Drab family is no stranger to the lacrosse, her sister, (Jordan 16’) Just graduated from the Scarlet Knights at Rutgers last season, her Dad, (Mike) is the driving force behind Team Cobra Kai, and Reilly (18’) is tearing it up with the Catamounts at the University of Vermont. Callie is the 1st player taken from the talented Cobra Kai 2022’team recruited to a D-1 college program to play lacrosse at the next level. Drab will No-Doubt bring her “Battle tested” game to the Blue Hens when she reunites with Samantha Schelling (CK21’) on campus in the Fall of 2022’. Coach Amy Altig and the “Blue Hens” got another great one!
2021 - Section 1 HM, All Section 2nd team

Midfielder Emma Torkoff (2022’) – Ontario Canada: has announced that she has committed to the University of Albany to play lacrosse at the next level. Torkoff’s size brings immediate attention and her abilities have attracted coaches from coast to coast trying to land the nearly 6’ft Junior... She’s your typical one cut back and get vertical runner, her stride length is that of an athlete six inches taller, churning downhill chewing up large chucks of yardage. She has a long smooth stride that surprises defenders as she goes from point A to B. Attacking the defense is second nature as she makes the tough catch look easy.
Covid 19 has locked Torkoff on the other side of the border with the travel ban, making the most of it she has focused her efforts to the United Lacrosse League, the Top Prospects Showcase where she was recently selected Tournament Team All Star in the 2021 division and training with her club team, the Orillia Lady Kings. She came off a pre Covid season as the 2nd leading scorer for all rookies in the Ontario Woman’s Lacrosse League U19A and was named Rookie of the Year.
In 2018 co-captained the Team Ontario squad that won the National Championship taking MVP honours of the game.
Coach Katie Rowan is getting one tough competitor that loves meeting whatever challenge is put in front of her. Emma is the 2nd player taken from the talented 2022’ Cobra Kai team to play D1 lacrosse. Watch out for the “Canadian Cobra” when she flies south to suit up for the 20th ranked “Great Danes” in the fall of 2022’.

2022' Midfielder - Marley Wright has announced she has committed to Brown University!
Wright is one of the crown jewels of 2022’ recruiting class, Marley can hurt defenses in a number of ways. She has enough burst to get topside with regularity, showing a savvy and confident dodging style as well as a strong shooting stroke with time and room. The College Coaches love how hard Wright rides as well as her toughness when the ball is on the ground. She’s a throwback, a true two-way middie — Marley has the ability to stretch you defensively, and athletically, she’s a great combination of size and power. “Marlax” is extremely intelligent and effective with the ball, able to beat even the most athletic defensemen to the goal. She embraces contact and surveys the field with an innate feel for the game. Deceptively quick, her ability to shake defenders off is game changing and it will be intriguing to see what she can do as defenses focus on limiting her in the Ivy League. This is the 3rd Cobra on the current 2022' team to be recruited to a D-1 college program to play lacrosse at the next level. Coach Keely McDonald got a great one! Watch Out - The Cobras are Rolling!
2021 - All Section, 1st team

2022' Defender - Hampton Zidlicky has announced she has committed to Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina to play lacrosse. Hampton has a confidence that you rarely see in high school athletes, particularly underclassmen. She's one of those kids who's constantly working on her game and that's obviously provided her with a tremendous skill set. But perhaps more importantly, it's given her a competitive edge and an element of mental toughness that most young players just don't have. There is nothing "soft" about Zidlicky’s game, this gritty Defender dishes out her fair share of punishment to anyone who opposes Team Cobra Kai. Zidlicky is the 4th player on this talented 2022’ team to be recruited to a D1 college program. Watch out for the “Hamptonator” when she suits up for Coach Whitten and the Paladins in the fall of 2022’. The Cobras are Rolling!

Sophia Pope 2022’ Midfielder - has recently announced that she has committed to Play lacrosse at Bentley University. Pope is the 5th player from this talented 2022’ team to play at the next level. Sophia is a skilled scorer with sneaky athleticism and awesome fundamentals. She runs the field impeccably well and is almost always good for a multi-goal performance. Pope is deceptively athletic and essentially does whatever it takes to put the ball in the back of the net. With her high level of tenacity, she is an active catalyst for the offense with an equal propensity for both scoring and passing. She makes impressive plays on a regular basis thanks to an incredible feel for the game, her crafty playmaking ability and off-ball play. Watch out for this Battle-tested Cobra wearing the “White and Blue” for Coach Taylor Bastien and the Falcons when she lands on campus in Massachusetts in the fall of 2022’
2021 All Section

2022’ Kellie Linehan -(Midfield) has announced she has committed to American University to play lacrosse. Linehan is one of the crown jewels of Mike Drab’s 2022’ recruiting class, Kellie can hurt defenses in a number of ways. Kellie is the 6th Cobra on the current 2022 ’team to be recruited to a D-1 college program to play lacrosse at the next level, Watch out for “Kellie Irish” when she suits up for the Eagles in the fall of 2022”!
2021 Acedemic All American, All Section,1st team

Midfielder Kate Burns -(22’) - has recently announced that she has committed to the College of the Holy Cross. A natural finisher, Kate possesses unbelievable hands and has a general knack for scoring gained by playing tons of lacrosse from “Growing up Cobra” as she is a “Founding” member of the Cobra Kai. A lefty with a powerful shot, Kate rounds out her game with footwork that utilizes her powerful frame around the goal. With an equal propensity for both scoring and passing, she makes impressive plays on a regular basis thanks to an incredible feel for the game. A smooth operator with her dodges from the side, she can shake defenders with a variety of moves, sting corners on the run and feed assists. Burns warrants constant attention from the defense as she can separate and finish better than the majority of her class, a quality that helped her become one of Team 22’s Top offensive weapons. She’s able to pull hard and accurate shots but also sees the field extremely well, knows when to move the ball and has a necessary intangibles for pushing transition when it’s there. More importantly, she is humble and loves to work, it bleeds out in the type of effort she gives you on the field. This is the 7th Cobra on the current 2022 ’team to be recruited to a D-1 college program to play lacrosse at the next level. Coach Belichick is getting a gritty warrior who hates to lose, wears the opponent down and never ever gives up, Watch out for “Cervino – Burns” to reunite with Mary Pat Sayre (20’) and the Crusader team in the Fall of 2022’.

Rowan Hall –Defender 2022’ has announced that she has committed to Kutztown University.
Defensively, Rowan is a force in the open field and a terror in the defensive zone. She is capable of locking down a top scoring threat and can also turn any ground ball into a timely goal at the other end. The future “Golden Bear” has standout footwork and stick skills ample enough to make her a threat in transition. A physical player, she possesses the toughness and strength to overpower opponents while having exceptional stick skills and quickness. As a fully “Battle Tested” Founding member of the Cobra Kai Team, she has a winner's mentality and her Lax IQ is off the charts for a young player. At the next level, Hall has the versatility of playing anywhere on the field. This is the 8th Cobra on the current 2022 ’team to be recruited to play lacrosse at the next level. Coach Stezzi is getting a Fearless warrior who wears the opponent down and never ever gives up, Watch out for “Hallsey” when she arrives on campus in the Fall of 2022’.

Josie Cavallo (22') Defender - has announced that she has committed to Colgate University.
Defensively, Josie is a disruptive force in the D-block, capable of neutralizing any opponents top scoring threat and can turn a defensive take-away into a timely goal at the other end. A physical player, Josie has the size and strength to overpower opponents and the quickness to “slide to help” in time to keep opposing threats away from the goal. As a fully “Battle Tested” member of the Cobra kai, she has a “Team First” winner's mentality and her Lax IQ is off the charts for a young player. At the next level, Josie was recruited to be a Utility player for the Raiders and is capable of playing anywhere on the field. A two sport athlete, Cavallo is a Top prospect in the soccer world at Albertus Magnus, recently coming off a tremendous season with the Falcons. Cavallo is the 9th Cobra on the current team to be recruited to a D-1 college program to play lacrosse at the next level. She will re-unite in Hamilton, NY with Former Cobra 2020’ Midfielder Emily Ullman (The Ullmanator) in the fall of 2022’. Watch out for JC!

Jessie McCabe (2022’) Attacker – has announced she has committed to the University of Scranton. Big and Strong, McCabe is deceptively quick and her basketball background is apparent around GLE as she embraces contact and surveys the field with an innate feel for the game. A smooth operator with her dodges from the side, Jesse warrants constant attention from the defense, especially since her game has taken a big step forward over the past year. She had an excellent summer with Cobra Kai and she’s playing with even more confidence. This is the 10th Cobra on the current 2022 ’team to be recruited to play lacrosse at the next level. The “Royals” are is getting a gritty warrior who wears the opponent down and never ever gives up, Watch out for McCabe when she arrives on campus in the Fall of 2022’!

Arianna Burns 2022’ (Midfielder) is the next Cobra Kai product to suit up for the Iona Gaels. Burns can take on multiple roles with the Gaels with her versatility, speed and burst. They say good things come in three’s - Arianna is the 3rd Cobra taken by Iona head Coach Lauren Kahn in the past year. Burns specialty is the “dirty work” and nobody does it better! Her non-stop pursuit of the ball, aggressive play between the lines and her ability to come up with a 50/50 ball is game changing. She has exceptional field vision and her ability to lock down a top scoring threat has made her key player on Team Cobra Kai. She has been a top scoring threat with a “winners mentality” since she arrived from Kingston, NY from the first day. Arianna is the 11th Cobra on the current team to commit to a Division-1 college program and will follow the “pipeline” of former Cobra Kai standouts - Kacie Scarduzio (21’) and 2021 “Player of the Year” – Kira Varada (21’) to Iona in the fall of 2022. Watch out for the “Cobra 3pack”!

Mia Dinnocenzio -2022’ Defender- has recently announced that she has committed to the University of Scranton. Mia is one of those kids who is always looking to advance her game whether is speed training, stick work or just asking for advice on how to handle defensive situations. The “Royals” will love how hard “Dinno” rides as well as her toughness when the ball is on the ground. She’s one of those Cobras that will beat you up pretty good and has the confidence to play with an edge .Mia is very physical, she can cover the quick girl or the big girl but also takes the team-first approach where she’s so impressive sliding to help. This is the 12th Cobra on the current 2022 ’team to be recruited to play lacrosse at the next level. Watch out for the “Cobra 2pack” as Dinnocenzio will re-unite with 2022’ teammate Jessie McCabe when she arrives on campus in the fall of 2022’!

2022’ Goal keeper - Aerin Obrien has recently announced she has committed to Susquehanna University. Aerin is a” founding” member of the Cobra kai and has trained to be goal keeper from the 1st day. She’s a girl who approaches every game with a positive attitude with that ‘next shot’ mentality. In the cage, Obrien showcases quick hands and the ability to hold her line until the final second before reacting to the shooter’s stick and making a stop. Many Coaches consider her communication her biggest asset, talking to her defenders, putting them in the right spots and limiting the offense on getting good shot opportunities. Coach Randall Swope, a back to back National Champion with Maryland (95’ & 96’) will certainly continue to bring the “Heat” and competition that she thrives on with Team Cobra Kai. She is the 13th player taken from the talented Cobra Kai 2022’ team recruited to play lacrosse at the next level. “OB” will No-Doubt bring her “Battle tested” game to the River Hawks when she arrives on campus in the fall of 2022’ and will re-unite with 2021’ Cobra Katie Neville.

Laura Montagna (22’) Midfielder - has announced that she committed to Wofford College to play lacrosse at the next level. This 3 sport athlete excels in Tennis, dominates in Winter Track, but her passion is deeply rooted in lacrosse. Montagna’s size brings immediate attention, she is your typical one cut back and get vertical runner, her stride length is that of an athlete six inches taller, churning downhill chewing up large chucks of yardage. She has a long smooth stride that surprises defenders as she goes from point A to B. Attacking the defense is second nature as she makes the tough catch look easy and can easily take on multiple roles for the “Terriers”. Coach Kim Eldridge is getting one tough competitor that loves meeting whatever challenge is put in front of her. Laura is the 14th Cobra on the current 2022 ’team to be recruited to a D-1 college program to play lacrosse at the next level, Watch out for the “Cobra Monte” when she arrives in Spartanburg in the fall of 2022”!

Felicity Heilferty (Goalie) 2022’ has announced that she has committed to play lacrosse at Stevens Institute of Technology. Felicity has been a fully committed player and trains year round, always working on her skills between the pipes. When Covid-19 hit and school administrators started to put roadblocks in her progression, Heilferty packed her gear and headed for the sunshine state. She got herself accepted to the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida to continue her training uninterrupted and has loved every minute of it. Felicity is the 15th player taken from the talented Cobra Kai 2022’ team recruited to play lacrosse at the next level. “Sunshine” will No-Doubt bring her “Battle tested” game to Coach Karen Shaddock and the “Ducks” when she arrives on campus in the fall of 2022’ and will re-unite with 2021’ Cobra - Anna Velardi.

Cobra Kai Pride - Class of 2021'

Junior Sydney Goldstein (21’) has recently announced that she has committed to The University of Pennsylvania. Sydney is the 4th “Drab Product” taken by Coach Karin Corbett and the UPenn women’s lacrosse program. Don’t let her size and cute smile fool you, “Syd the Kid” is a feisty and aggressive player with the heart of a lion, completely unafraid of any opponent. Goldstein is a fully committed member of the Cobra Kai –Team 21’ while juggling a 3 sport athlete’s schedule. Her great field vision and Non-Stop pursuit of the ball makes her almost impossible to beat! Always in top physical shape, Goldstein excels in the “2 man game”, with non-stop picks, rolls and explosive dodges which gets her to the cage over and over. The ability to use her body to shield the ball inside the 8 meter is game changing and her talent to get a quality shot off has propelled her to be one of the Tri-States hottest prospects. This is the 1st Cobra on the current 2021’team to be recruited to a D-1 college program to play lacrosse at the next level. She will follow down the pipeline of former “Drab Trained standouts” - Bosco (17’), Rosenzweig (16’) and Cheeseman(16’) to Franklin Field. Her work ethic and her internal drive to succeed will “No Doubt” leave her mark with the Quakers starting in the Fall of 2021’. Coach Corbett got herself another great one!
2021 US Lacrosse All- American, All Section, 1st team, Scholar athlete of the season, Player of the Year(Rockland)

Junior Samantha Schelling (21’) has committed to the University of Delaware .Samantha is a pure competitor who has both toughness and burst. She’s a physical dodger with a deceptive first step which makes “Shells” a tough cover with a killer instinct on game day. Schelling has the “Winners mentality” closing in on 400 career wins under Coaches Drab and Iodice, making her a priority target of many D1 programs. Samantha’s ability to make her teammates around her better sets her apart as she’s the consummate quarterback and the girl you want to give the ball to at the end of the game. This is the 2nd player taken from the Cobra Kai 2021’team recruited to a D-1 college program to play lacrosse at the next level. Schelling will No-Doubt bring her “Battle tested” game to the Blue Hens when she arrives on campus in the Fall of 2021’

Katie Siverson (2021’) Midfielder - has recently announced that she has committed to Wagner College.
Siverson does the majority of her damage from the top of 8 meter, showing the total package of explosiveness, shooting ability and the necessary intangibles. She’s a presence who shoots the lights out, but more importantly, makes the players around her better. Siverson is extremely comfortable with the ball in her stick anywhere around the cage, often finishing with flair and “deadly” on the draw circle as the Cobras Top Draw weapon. The All American and Gold medalist Coach Michelle Tumolo is getting a highly effective dodger who will surely fit well into the Seahawks offense thanks to her crafty playmaking ability and off-ball play. Siverson is the 3rd Cobra on the current 2021’team to be recruited to play D1 lacrosse at the next level. Watch out for “Cobra Si” and her “battle-tested” Cobra Kai game when she lands on Staten Island in the Fall of 2021.

Junior Defender Gabby Castillo (2021’) - has announced that she has committed to Binghamton University.
Gabby Castillo, a “founding member” of the Cobra kai, had an excellent fall as Team 21’s defensive leader. Thriving both 1-on-1 or away from the ball, she showed no ‘off’ switch this season, excelling at each event that she attended. Castillo is a technician who flips hers hips and blankets her girl due to excellent footwork, sneaky athleticism and awesome fundamentals. Coaches have raved about her work off-ball as Gabby is constantly calling out slide packages and putting her teammates in the right spots. She is not only someone who can shut down opposing attackers, but can also make things happen in transition. Coach Allen and the “Bearcats” are getting a loyal and fearless soldier for the D-Block that will implement any game plan or instructions to the exact degree as “listening” is one of her top skills. A two sport athlete, Castillo also has a bright future in the game of Volleyball, recently coming off a tremendous season. Gabby is the 4th Cobra on the current 2021’team to be recruited to a D-1 college program to play lacrosse at the next level. She will follow the “pipeline” of Coach Drab’s former World Tour Players to Binghamton -- Lindsey Stephens (16’) and Jessica Gurrieri (17’) and the “Captain”-Alyssa Sanchez (17’). Watch out for the “Cobra Cubana” when she arrives upstate in the Fall of 2021’.
Acedemic All American, Section 1 HM, 2nd team

Erin Windwer 2021’ Goalie - has committed to the University of Vermont.
Erin is a fully committed -“founding” member of the Cobra Kai. She is poised in goal and is a strong communicator to the defense in front of her. She’s not afraid to challenge for 50/50 balls outside of her crease, and her clearing game enables the Cobras to excel in fast break scenarios. Windwer was a huge reason why Team 21’ finished an incredibly daunting schedule in the fall of 2017 with a “Perfect” record that propelled the Cobras into the National Top 25 spotlight. Erin is constantly “robbing” opposing shooters left and right, she’s an outstanding shot stopper and is likely the best clearing goalie on the National circuit in her age bracket. A student of the game, Windwer has been trained by Coach Ginny Capicchioni, and is a member of the Goal Guardians training program since 6th grade when Cobra Kai coaching staff noticed her incredibly fast hands and sent her home from practice with a set of goalie gear. This is the 5th player taken from the talented Cobra Kai 2021’ team recruited to a D-1 college program to play lacrosse at the next level. There’s little doubt that Windwer will be called on early by Coach Sarah Graddock to lock the goal down at Virtue Field for years to come and keep the “Catamounts” in the mix come playoff time.

Kat Cama (2021’) Defender- has recently announced that she has committed to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Cama, a fully committed “Founding” member of the Cobra Kai has been one of the most reliable and dependable teammates ever to be a part of this program. Cama is one of those kids who is always looking to advance her game whether is speed training, stick work or just asking for advice on how to handle defensive situations. Cama is a physical and aggressive player along with being a strong communicator, “Katlax” will “NO Doubt” have her D-Block in order for the “Engineers”. There is so many positive things we can say about Kat Cama, the best one is simply…the Cobra Kai lacrosse club would not be the same without her! Kat is the 6th Cobra on the current 2021’ team to be recruited to play lacrosse at the next level. The coaching staff at the Cobra Kai is very proud of you and your progression! Watch out for this “Battle-tested” Cobra wearing RED on RENWYCK FIELD in the fall of 2021’ – It’s “Cama time”!

Midfielder -Victoria Direnno (2021’) has recently announced that she has committed to Niagra University! A do-it-all dynamo, there's nothing this natural talent doesn't do. Victoria has great field vision to go along with a strong and accurate shot, she can rip it out of her left and right hand equally, hiding her stick behind her ear to make it near impossible for goalies to get a read on it. Direnno is marked by good speed and exceptional stick skills that make her one of Cobra Team 21’s top offensive threats. She is armed with an outstanding first step and toughness to boot, bouncing off defenders on her way to the cage. On top of that, she’s an elusive and resilient throwback midfielder who competes her tail off and can boost her team in a number of ways whether it’s a key groundball, caused turnover on defense or pretty assist in transition. She has been nicknamed “Victorious” based on her efforts during the undefeated run in 2017 which propelled Team 21’ in to the National spotlight. Lacrosse is in her veins so it’s no surprise she will follow her mother’s “Villanova Wildcat” past, and head to the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference to write her own NCAA chapter. Direnno is the 7th player taken from the talented Cobra Kai 2021’ team recruited to a D-1 college program to play lacrosse at the next level. Un-effected by weather conditions, Watch out for this Cobra to Embrace the “Lake Effect” and excel upstate for the Purple Eagles!

2021’ Defender – Katie Neville has announced her commitment to Susquehanna University to play lacrosse. A towering presence on the field, Neville has developed her stick and foot work a ton since she first arrived at Cobra Kai and has considerable upside. Coach Randall Swope, a back to back National Champion with Maryland (95’ & 96’) will love how hard Katie rides as well as her toughness when the ball is on the ground. She’s one of those Cobra Kai “Bruise Sisters” that can and will beat you up pretty good and has a confidence that enables her to play with an edge. Neville can cover the quick girl or the big girl but also takes the team-first approach where she’s so impressive sliding to help. This is the 8th player taken from the talented Cobra Kai 2021’team recruited to play lacrosse at the next level. Katie will No-Doubt bring her “Battle tested” game to the “River Hawks” when she arrives on campus in the fall of 2021’

2021' Midfielder -Fiona McGovern has just announced that she has committed St.Bonaventure to play Division 1 lacrosse. Gritty and quick, McGovern plays behind at X (both sides) to feed and dodge. Her greatest assets are a quick first step, ability to get inside, and field vision to find open cutters. Fiona hit the 100 goal milestone - sophomore season on varsity(Hen Hud), recognized as a 2x All League Recipient as well as a 2x All Section Honorable Mention recipient. She represented the Hudson Valley region in US Lacrosse National Tournament and also the Metro NY area team in the National Lacrosse Classic - 2x champion. McGovern is the 9th player taken from the talented Cobra Kai 2021’ team recruited to play lacrosse at the D1 level. Fiona will No-Doubt bring her “Battle tested” game to the “Bonnies” when she arrives in the Atlantic10 conference in the fall of 2021’. Watch out for the "Cobra McFi"!
Acedemic All american, All section, 1st team

Anna Velardi (2021’) has recently announced that she has committed to Stevens Institute of Technology. Anna is another excitable dodger out of the Cobra Kai program, dazzling on the club circuit with her combination of quick feet, smooth stick skills and ability to turn the corner. The Sloatsburg native is tough as nails, built like a fire hydrant, and yet freakishly athletic. She is an absolute warrior who wears people down at the X, tough and fearless and always plays with an edge. “V-lar” has a Fluid shot on the run but does the dirty work between the lines as well as anyone out there.. She’s been a go-to midfield initiator for the Cobras but many College programs feel that she’s well-rounded enough that she could be an attack QB or shutdown D-middie if called upon. Anna is a fully committed -“founding” member of the Cobra Kai and is the 10th player taken from the talented Cobra Kai 2021’team recruited to a college program to play lacrosse at the next level. Watch out for Anna as she brings her Battle tested game to the "Ducks" in the Fall of 2021'.
2021 Section 1 HM

Senior Celia Fidanza (21’) has recently went public on her decision to go West and Committed to Westminster College. Celia is a dedicated and talented attacker with shifty moves and unique shooting style. Fidanza, Florida’s only Cobra – is a super-fast and aggressive player who can line up at multiple positions for Coach Niki Harding. Her training and skills have been a constant progression. Celia is the 11th player recruited from the talented Team 21' to play lacrosse at the next level and will play at a Division -2 college program. Watch out for “Cobra Sunshine” when she lands in Salt Lake City and suits up for the Griffins in the fall of 2021’.

2021’ Senior Kacie Scarduzio (Midfielder) has commited to play Division 1 lacrosse at Iona College. Big, mean and left-handed, Scarduzio gets it off the ground cleanly and is remarkable with the ball in her stick running upfield. In addition, she is a dangerous lefty cutter and is very comfortable feeding the ball with pressure. Kacie is a terror off the wings and has a knack for pushing transition when it’s there, but is also equally adept at both on-ball and off-ball D. Demonstrating outstanding footwork and stick skills, the lefty has excellent range on her outside shot and already looks the part of a Division 1 midfielder. Her basketball background is apparent around GLE as she embraces contact and surveys the field with an innate feel for the game. She excels at the "2 Man" game with "non-stop" picks and rolls learned from being coached on one of the Nation’s top (Ossining) high school basketball programs. High lax IQ and next level decision making will make her a standout for Coach Lauren Kahn and the Gaels. Scarduzio’s on field success is directly attributed to some of Section 1’s top coaches including Gail Lazado, Porter, Molfetta, Legacy lax of Westchester and the Ossining youth program. Kacie is the 12th player taken from the talented Cobra Kai 2021’team recruited to a college program to play lacrosse at the Division 1 level.

Senior Kira Varada (21’) has recently announced that she has committed to the Iona College to play lacrosse at the next level. Kira is just one of those girls we all watched in the fall at the Presidents Cup and said ‘Holy Jesus’, you knew right off the bat she’s going to attract a lot of college attention. She really turned heads on the Winter Showcase circuit with her ability to play fast and create transition opportunities. With her combination of explosiveness, elite stick work and vision, she’s incredibly difficult to cover. Varada has enormous upside and is just scratching the surface of what she’s capable of. Kira is just one of those kids who knows how to score, she has next level shooting ability and targets her shots on goal from a variety of release points. Whether at midfield or on attack, she anticipates the flow and already knows her next move before the ball even touches her stick. Varada’s progression is directly attributed to countless of hours of training by some of the best Coaches in the area including Gail Lozado, Porter, Molfetta and the entire staff at Legacy Lacrosse. Varada might not catch the 2020’-“Cobra Fino” on the NYSPHSAA records, but this Cobra will certainly be in striking distance for the scoring title at Hendrick Hudson high school posting an 88 goal effort sophomore year. She was the 2019 ‘Soccer player of the year’ in NY Section 1 and is one track to be one of the Top 5 athletes to ever come out of Hendrick Hudson High school. Varada is the13th Cobra on the current 2021’team to be recruited to play D1 lacrosse at the next level. She’s as good as they come on Team Cobra Kai -Watch out when the “K-Train” rolls in to New Roc city and suits up for Coach Lauren Kahn and the Gaels in the fall of 2021’.

Senior Katelyn Cerrato 2021’ Midfielder - has committed to FAIRLEIGH DICKINSON UNIVERSITY to play lacrosse and Field Hockey. The “Devils” are getting a super-fast lefty / righty dodger with the ability to burn anyone one-on-one. She anticipates the flow and already knows her next move before the ball even touches her stick. She has excellent field vision and decision making, plays above X and has the ability to feed the ball with pressure on. “Kit Kat” is an excellent runner with a lightning first step combined with next level speed, always in top physical shape and knows how to win the big game -2019 State Champion Field hockey player. Cerrato’s progression is directly attributed to countless of hours of training by some of the best Coaches in the area including Gail Lozado, Porter, Molfetta and the entire staff at Legacy Lacrosse. Katelyn is the 14th Cobra on the current 2021’ team to be recruited to play lacrosse at the next level and the 1st Cobra to take on 2 sports at the collegiate level. Watch Out for this “Battle tested Cobra” when she suits up for Head Coach Evan Mager and the Devils in the fall of 2021.

2021' Hannah Glazer has recently committed to Framingham State University to play lacrosse at the next level. Glazer is a very versatile player who can "Blanket cover" aka "Glaze Her" on defense and score critical shots on the attack. Hannah has the size and muscle to make an immediate impact for the "Rams". Glazer is the 15th Cobra on the current 2021’team to be recruited to play lacrosse at the next level. Danielle Hientz (2020’ Goalie) has announced that she has committed to the University of Colorado. Few players on the recruiting circuit have the type of presence that Hientz brings each time she’s on the field for the Cobra Kai. Danielle is a phenomenal shot-stopper who possesses excellent instincts, hand speed and clearing ability that consistently helps trigger the transition game. As one of the top prospects in the Tri-State area, Hientz found herself with a long list of potential college suitors. A 2016 US Lacrosse Wall Ball Champion, this 9th grader just came off an excellent season in the goal at Brewster High school this spring. This is the 1st player to commit on the talented 2020' roster and the 2nd player taken from Coach Drab by the Buffalo’s. Hientz will follow the former “World Tour” standout Jen Mistretta(16’) in Colorado in the Fall of 2020.

Junior Midfielder, Samantha Bischoff (20'), went public on her decision to verbally commit to Cambell University. Bischoff is the 2nd Cobra Kai player taken so far by a Division I program from this talented team. Sam, a founding member of the Cobra Kai, is a force in the lineup and has the size and strength to overpower opponents while losing none of the stick skills or quickness that have gotten her this far. Bischoffs Lax IQ is off the charts for a young player and she also has a winner's mentality. Breakout performances at several summer showcases including a dominant performance up at Lake Placid have made this hard-nosed and athletic two-way talent a priority target of many top programs. Samantha Bischoff, also a standout on her basketball team, will “No Doubt” bring her battle tested–Cobra Kai game to the “Camels” when she arrives in North Carolina in the fall of 2020’.

Junior Mid-fielder MaryPat Sayre (20’) has announced that she has committed to the College of the Holy Cross. From the first day she came to Cobra Kai practice, she was a force in the lineup and a terror in the defensive zone. This “battle tested”- Immaculate Heart Academy (IHA) star player has been tearing it up in one of the hot beds of girls lax – Bergen county, NJ for the past 2 seasons. A Nanuet native, “MP” is not the most “Flashy” player out there; her specialty is the “dirty work” and nobody does it better! Her non-stop pursuit of the ball, aggressive play between the lines and her ability to come up with a 50/50 ball is game changing. She has exceptional field vision and her ability to lock down a top scoring threat with speed, muscle or finesse has made her a priority target of many of the nation’s top programs. Sayre has a leading role in the “Cobra Show”, famous for the “Hail Marypat”, a play designed by Coach Drab which she executes to perfection. “Fully committed” are not strong enough words for the Sayre family and this Two-way talent who will make an immediate impact with the Crusaders in the Fall of 2020’. Junior Midfielder Eliz Fino(20’) has recently announced that she has verbally committed to Central Connecticut State to play lacrosse at the next level. Fino, a top prospect from Section 9, is an explosive, two-handed slashing machine with the IQ and field sense you'd expect from a much older player. She brings one of the top multi-dimensional midfield games in the state and her BIG motor and desire for the ball is overpowering. Her strong play between the lines and dodging ability as a lefty or righty makes her one of the most shifty and smart players out there. Fino has excellent work ethic, toughness and smarts with the versatility and athleticism to play a number of different roles with the Blue Devils. This is the 4th Cobra on the current 2020’ team to be recruited to a D-1 college program. Watch out for “The Cobra Fino”!

Junior attacker Juli Guzi(2020’) has recently committed to play lacrosse at Framingham State University. Athletic, smooth and dynamic, Guzi can create from all spots of the field with either hand. Recruited as an attacker, her skill set and lacrosse IQ will make her a big time player for the Rams whether it's at “X” or at the midfield. Juli is a dedicated and talented attacker with shifty moves and unique shooting style. She is a key player on the “New Fairfield Rebels” squad with 2 Connecticut State Championship titles and sights on a 3peat this season. Watch out for “The Guzinator”!!!

2020’ Midfielder - Emily Ullman has recently announced her commitment to play Division 1 lacrosse at Colgate University. This two-way speedster is a quick and shifty dodger, a monster physically with the ability to burn anyone one-on-one. Ullman is so dynamic, gets to the cage with almost a deceiving kind of burst and has an elite shot on the run. The “Ullmanator”, a founding member of the Cobra Kai, plays with an edge and is a player who is tough and fearless…Spent last summer eating defenders alive with her Cobra like moves and a motor that stands out from the get go. Emily is the 6th player to be recruited from the 2020’ team to play at the next level and can line up at multiple positions for the Raiders.

Caroline Moran 2020’ Midfielder has recently announced that she has committed to Play D1 lacrosse at Davidson College. Moran, a founding member of the Cobra Kai, the 2nd half of the Nanuet “2pack”, is the 7th player from this talented 2020’ team to play at the next level. Caroline is a skilled left-handed scorer with sneaky athleticism and awesome fundamentals. She runs the field impeccably well and is almost always good for a multi-goal performance. Arguably the most in-demand 2020’ player still out there this past summer, Caroline is deceptively athletic and essentially does whatever it takes to put the ball in the back of the net. With her high level of tenacity, she is constantly an active catalyst for the offense with an equal propensity for both scoring and passing. She makes impressive plays on a regular basis thanks to an incredible feel for the game, her crafty playmaking ability and off-ball play. Watch out for this Battle-tested Cobra wearing the “Red and Black” for Coach Kim Wayne and the Wildcats when she lands on campus in North Carolina in the fall of 2020’.

Rising Senior Lola Wright 2020’ attack –has recently went public on her decision to commit to Vassar College. Lola has had breakout performances at several summer showcases and has taken her time to pick the “Wright fit” to balance her athletic and educational goals. The “Brewers” are getting super-fast lefty or righty dodger with the ability to burn anyone one-on-one. She anticipates the flow, and already knows her next move before the ball even touches her stick. Lola can also turn any ground ball into a timely goal. Lola is the 8th player from the current team to be recruited to play at the next level and can line up at multiple positions for Coach Finerghty. She is a fully committed member of Team 20’- Cobra Kai and Coach Drab will have the honor to give the “Committed” arm band to her before the New England Chill tournament as Team 20’ will Return to the field this Fall as seniors.

Senior Anna Maria Gragnani (20’) has announced that she has committed to Drexel University. Anna Maria is a physical player, she possesses the size and strength to overpower opponents while losing none of the stick skills or quickness. As a fully “Battle Tested” founding member of the Cobra Kai, she has a winner's mentality and her Lax IQ is off the charts for a young player. At the next level, Gragnani can be a Utility player for the Dragons and is capable of lining up at multiple positions on the field. She is dominant on the draw circle and her physical presence around the goal causes major problems for opponents. A two sport athlete, “AMG” has had success on the Gymnastics team, recently coming off a tremendous season. Gragnani is the 9th Cobra on the current team to be recruited and will take her talents to a D-1 college program to play lacrosse at the next level. Watch out Philadelphia … Here comes Gragnani!

Rossella Nardi (20’ ATTACK) has recently committed to Delaware State University. Rossella entered the Cobra Kai travel lacrosse world as a rising senior and 15 minutes into game 1 at Summer Genesis the phones started ringing on the sideline…who is this Nardi kid? The Section 9 (Kingston) standout was certainly overwhelmed by the attention playing on the 2020' nationally ranked team but focused herself immediately and worked the process in a tireless fashion to find a team that could make a roster spot for her. Nardi’s motor and tenacity are the attributes that first come to mind when describing her skill set, as she’s relentless and disruptive. She’s plays with an incredible edge all over the field, her feet never stop moving. Rossella is dynamic and athletic, dodging the alleys with tremendous confidence and shoots the corners with next level ability. Nardi is an excitable playmaker, blessed with soft hands and quick wrists which allows her to get the ball out in the blink of an eye. Rossella is the 10th Cobra on the current team to be recruited and will take her talents to a D-1 college program to play lacrosse at the next level. Coach Pam Jenkins , a White Plains native who played her High school career at Rye Country day school is getting a Great one! Watch out for Nardi to bring those “Happy Feet” and her Cobra Kai game to the Hornets next season.

Anna V Mazariegos –(2020’ Defender) has recently announced that she has committed to play D2 lacrosse at St.Thomas Aquinas College in the fall. Anna V turned heads on the summer recruit circuit with her ability to play fast and create transition opportunities. This hard-nosed cover girl is rock solid across the board, showing a high compete level and rarely getting beat by her opposition. She plays excellent position, seldom allowing opponents to get past her while frequently checking the ball loose using her physicality and strong lower body to prohibit them from getting around her. Her intimidating presence has caused a bunch of attackers to not even try dodging her, as it would likely result in a turnover. Anna V is the 11th Cobra on the current team to be recruited and will take her talents to a college program to play lacrosse at the next level. Watch out for Anna V to bring her “battle tested” Cobra Kai game to the Spartans this Fall.

2020' Attacker -Avery Jillson has recently announced that she has committed to SUNY Maritime. Jillson can dodge with success from just about everywhere, burying goals with a shot that is far more advanced than most players her age. Her IQ, unselfishness and vision have been pivotal for Cobra Kai’s success over the past few seasons. Avery is able to make multi-goal outings look easy and does so with flair, stylishly eluding defenders and pinging corners at will. Beyond just putting the ball in the back of the net, Jillson simply makes the right play on a consistent basis. Team 20' ends the Cobra Kai "Run" being Nationally ranked the past 3 seasons and with 93.2 % of team members recruited to play College lacrosse. Watch out for "Capt.Avery" when she suits up for the Privateers this Fall on Reinhart Field. Great Job Cobra!
