Cobra Kai Pride - Class of 2020'

Danielle Hientz (2020’ Goalie) has announced that she has committed to the University of Colorado. Few players on the recruiting circuit have the type of presence that Hientz brings each time she’s on the field for the Cobra Kai. Danielle is a phenomenal shot-stopper who possesses excellent instincts, hand speed and clearing ability that consistently helps trigger the transition game. As one of the top prospects in the Tri-State area, Hientz found herself with a long list of potential college suitors. A 2016 US Lacrosse Wall Ball Champion, this 9th grader just came off an excellent season in the goal at Brewster High school this spring. This is the 1st player to commit on the talented 2020' roster and the 2nd player taken from Coach Drab by the Buffalo’s. Hientz will follow the former “World Tour” standout Jen Mistretta(16’) in Colorado in the Fall of 2020.

Junior Midfielder, Samantha Bischoff (20'), went public on her decision to verbally commit to Cambell University. Bischoff is the 2nd Cobra Kai player taken so far by a Division I program from this talented team. Sam, a founding member of the Cobra Kai, is a force in the lineup and has the size and strength to overpower opponents while losing none of the stick skills or quickness that have gotten her this far. Bischoffs Lax IQ is off the charts for a young player and she also has a winner's mentality. Breakout performances at several summer showcases including a dominant performance up at Lake Placid have made this hard-nosed and athletic two-way talent a priority target of many top programs. Samantha Bischoff, also a standout on her basketball team, will “No Doubt” bring her battle tested–Cobra Kai game to the “Camels” when she arrives in North Carolina in the fall of 2020’.

2019 Rockland County 1st Team selection

Junior Mid-fielder MaryPat Sayre (20’) has announced that she has committed to the College of the Holy Cross. From the first day she came to Cobra Kai practice, she was a force in the lineup and a terror in the defensive zone. This “battle tested”- Immaculate Heart Academy (IHA) star player has been tearing it up in one of the hot beds of girls lax – Bergen county, NJ for the past 2 seasons. A Nanuet native, “MP” is not the most “Flashy” player out there; her specialty is the “dirty work” and nobody does it better! Her non-stop pursuit of the ball, aggressive play between the lines and her ability to come up with a 50/50 ball is game changing. She has exceptional field vision and her ability to lock down a top scoring threat with speed, muscle or finesse has made her a priority target of many of the nation’s top programs. Sayre has a leading role in the “Cobra Show”, famous for the “Hail Marypat”, a play designed by Coach Drab which she executes to perfection. “Fully committed” are not strong enough words for the Sayre family and this Two-way talent who will make an immediate impact with the Crusaders in the Fall of 2020’. This is the 3rd player on the current team to be recruited to a D-1 college program to play lacrosse at the next level. Coach Belichick is getting a great one! Watch Out For Sister MaryPat!!!

2019 US Lacrosse All - American

Junior Midfielder Eliz Fino(20’) has recently announced that she has verbally committed to Central Connecticut State to play lacrosse at the next level. Fino, a top prospect from Section 9, is an explosive, two-handed slashing machine with the IQ and field sense you'd expect from a much older player. She brings one of the top multi-dimensional midfield games in the state and her BIG motor and desire for the ball is overpowering. Her strong play between the lines and dodging ability as a lefty or righty makes her one of the most shifty and smart players out there. Fino has excellent work ethic, toughness and smarts with the versatility and athleticism to play a number of different roles with the Blue Devils. This is the 4th Cobra on the current 2020’ team to be recruited to a D-1 college program. Watch out for “The Cobra Fino”!

4/24/2019 - NYSPHAA record for "Most goals in a single game" with 16.

5/15/2019 - NYSPHAA  record for "Most goals in a single season" with154.

5/18/2019 - Section 9 record for " Most Goals in Career"  with 387 goals

Junior attacker Juli Guzi(2020’) has recently committed to play lacrosse at Framingham State University. Athletic, smooth and dynamic, Guzi can create from all spots of the field with either hand. Recruited as an attacker, her skill set and lacrosse IQ will make her a big time player for the Rams whether it's at “X” or at the midfield. Juli is a dedicated and talented attacker with shifty moves and unique shooting style. She is a key player on the “New Fairfield Rebels” squad with 2 Connecticut State Championship titles and sights on a 3peat this season. Watch out for “The Guzinator”!!!

2020’ Midfielder - Emily Ullman has recently announced her commitment to play Division 1 lacrosse at Colgate University. This two-way speedster is a quick and shifty dodger, a monster physically with the ability to burn anyone one-on-one. Ullman is so dynamic, gets to the cage with almost a deceiving kind of burst and has an elite shot on the run. The “Ullmanator”, a founding member of the Cobra Kai, plays with an edge and is a player who is tough and fearless…Spent last summer eating defenders alive with her Cobra like moves and a motor that stands out from the get go. Emily is the 6th player to be recruited from the 2020’ team to play at the next level and can line up at multiple positions for the Raiders.

2019 Rockland County 1st Team selection

Caroline Moran 2020’ Midfielder has recently announced that she has committed to Play D1 lacrosse at Davidson College. Moran, a founding member of the Cobra Kai, the 2nd half of the Nanuet “2pack”, is the 7th player from this talented 2020’ team to play at the next level. Caroline is a skilled left-handed scorer with sneaky athleticism and awesome fundamentals. She runs the field impeccably well and is almost always good for a multi-goal performance. Arguably the most in-demand 2020’ player still out there this past summer, Caroline is deceptively athletic and essentially does whatever it takes to put the ball in the back of the net. With her high level of tenacity, she is constantly an active catalyst for the offense with an equal propensity for both scoring and passing.  She makes impressive plays on a regular basis thanks to an incredible feel for the game, her crafty playmaking ability and off-ball play. Watch out for this Battle-tested Cobra wearing the “Red and Black” for Coach Kim Wayne and the Wildcats when she lands on campus in North Carolina in the fall of 2020’.
