2021’ Defender – Katie Neville has announced her commitment to Susquehanna University to play lacrosse. A towering presence on the field, Neville has developed her stick and foot work a ton since she first arrived at Cobra Kai and has considerable upside. Coach Randall Swope, a back to back National Champion with Maryland (95’ & 96’) will love how hard Katie rides as well as her toughness when the ball is on the ground. She’s one of those Cobra Kai “Bruise Sisters” that can and will beat you up pretty good and has a confidence that enables her to play with an edge. Neville can cover the quick girl or the big girl but also takes the team-first approach where she’s so impressive sliding to help. This is the 7th player taken from the talented Cobra Kai 2021’team recruited to play lacrosse at the next level. Cobras are rolling...Direnno Commits to Niagra University!
by posted 02/09/2020

Midfielder -Victoria Direnno (2021’) has recently announced that she has committed to Niagra University!

A do-it-all dynamo, there's nothing this natural talent doesn't do. Victoria has great field vision to go along with a strong and accurate shot, she can rip it out of her left and right hand equally, hiding her stick behind her ear to make it near impossible for goalies to get a read on it. Direnno is marked by good speed and exceptional stick skills that make her one of Cobra Team 21’s top offensive threats. She is armed with an outstanding first step and toughness to boot, bouncing off defenders on her way to the cage. On top of that, she’s an elusive and resilient throwback midfielder who competes her tail off and can boost her team in a number of ways whether it’s a key groundball, caused turnover on defense or pretty assist in transition. She has been nicknamed “Victorious” based on her efforts during the undefeated run in 2017 which propelled Team 21’ in to the National spotlight. Lacrosse is in her veins so it’s no surprise she will follow her mother’s “Villanova Wildcat” past, and head to the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference to write her own NCAA chapter.  Direnno is the 7th player taken from the talented Cobra Kai 2021’ team recruited to a D-1 college program to play lacrosse at the next level. Un-effected by weather conditions, Watch out for this Cobra to Embrace the “Lake Effect” and excel upstate for the Purple Eagles!

Cama is a physical and aggressive player along with being a strong communicator, “Katlax” will “NO Doubt” have her D-Block in order for the “Engineers”. There is so many positive things we can say about Kat Cama, the best one is simply…the Cobra Kai lacrosse club would not be the same without her! Meet the New Cobras for 2020
by posted 02/02/2020

Cobra Kai lacrosse welcomes New players for the 2020' season.

2021' Nolan Tobin (Montclair High School)

Tobin is a fierce competitor with a big presence at 5'10" and has the versatility to line up at multiple positions for the Cobra Kai this season. Her background as center on field hockey and a track star has given her the tools needed to excel on the lacrosse field. Nolan plays with an aggressive overpowering style, completely unafraid of any opponent and will surely fit right in with the dynamic of Team 21's winning mentality. Watch out for Cobra "NoTo"!

2021' Fiona McGovern (Hen Hud high school)

Gritty and quick, plays behind at X (both sides) to feed and dodge. Greatest assets are a quick first step, ability to get inside, and vision of the field to find open cutters. Hit 100 goal milestone - sophomore season on varsity, recognized as a 2x All League Recipient as well as a 2x All Section Honorable Mention recipient. Represented Hudson Valley region in US Lacrosse National Tournament and also the Metro NY area team in the National Lacrosse Classic - 2x champion. Watch out for the NO MERCY game of  "Cobra McFi"!

2021' Kira Varada - (Hen Hud high school)

Varada can play any position and excel (probably goalie if called upon too), greatest assets are her speed, dodges to goal and defensive footwork. Broke two school records in 2019: 1. Most goals (88) in a season. 2. Most goals (10) against Mount De Sales in Maryland. 2x champion at All-American LAX Nationals. 3 sport athlete - Player of the year 2019 in Soccer (Section 1), 2 time all section and Golden Boot award winner. Watch out for the "K-Train"!

2021' Kacie Scarduzio - (Ossining high school)

Big & strong, Scarduzio is a dangerous lefty cutter and is very comfortable feeding the ball with pressure. Excels at the "2 Man" game with "non-stop" picks and rolls learned from being coached on one of the nations top high school basketball programs. High lax IQ and next level decision making will make her a standout on Team 21's attack. Watch out for the "Scarduzinator"!

2021 Katelyn Cerrato (Lakeland high school)

Excellent field vision and decision making, plays above X and has the ability to feed the ball with pressure on and can dodge from anywhere on the field.  Excellent runner with a lightning first step combined with next level speed, always in top physical shape -3 sport athlete. Knows how to win the big game -2019 State Champion field hockey player.

2022' Hampton Zidlicky (Mamaroneck high school)

Hampton will look to settle in on team 22's D-block and has the ability to recognized offenses quickly and communicate slide packages to her teammates. Physical player with toughness and speed, posses a High Lax IQ with excellent stick skills. It should all come together this season for this defensive Cobra!

2022' Emma Torkoff (Ontario,Canada)

Closing in on 6' Feet - the highly coachable "Canadian" will be another huge threat on the draw circle for Team 22' this season. Marked by great speed and stick skills, emma will certainly look to make her presence known in the United States. Watch out for this "Highly" motivated Cobra running on the Midfield.

2022' Kelly Hoxie (Columbia High School)
East Greenbush, NY  - Capital region

Another Cobra closing in on the 6' foot mark - Hoxie is a big offensive threat with great stick skills and "Track Star" speed. Most comfortable around the crease, she will be a big target for the feeders at X. Kelly shoots the ball with a variety of release points and has a dangerous double move going to the goal. She's going to be a nightmare for opposing teams to handle.

Cobra 2021' -National Team of the Week on Great performance!
by posted 11/25/2019

The 2021' Cobra Kai team has been named "National Team of the week" by US Club Lacrosse after another amazing performace at IWLCA Presidents Cup in Wellington, Florida. Team 21' has been a on a collision course this Fall playing some of the Top teams in the Country and finding success. Big wins recently over #11 Summit elite CO, #13 Florida Select, #20 TLC red, and #24 Sound Lacrosse has the Cobras right in the mix of it. While some other teams are playing "B" teams out in the distance to manufacture wins and keep the parents on "Auto Pay", the Cobra Kai will always point the girls -win or lose- straight at the Number 1 spot and where the college recruiting happens. We Thank the players and familes for clearing your schedules week after week to battle it out with us Cobra Kai style.

Team 22' is on the Move - 4 Big Wins and a Bracket Championship on the main stage at The Champions Cup this weekend has attracted a lot of eyes to the young Cobras. With a team stacked with talent, these girls showed that they can play with anybody and have the parent support to take it all they way.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
