Total Victory - Highlights from Team 21 Signing Day
by posted 11/15/2020

Congrats to our 2021' team on signing their Scholarship papers Friday night as a team. We have coached them all the way through, many since 3rd grade and could not be happier for them. With the passion, energy and leadership of Mike Drab who has been the driving force of Team Cobra - none of this would have been possible. This a true team, one to be very proud of, the girls sacrificed alot to be on the squad but in the end 100% of the girls are heading to next level where they wanted to be. It's a Total Victory!!! All The Best in the NCAA girls!

by posted 11/03/2020

Senior Katelyn Cerrato 2021’ Midfielder - has committed to FAIRLEIGH DICKINSON UNIVERSITY to play lacrosse and Field Hockey. The “Devils” are getting a super-fast lefty / righty dodger with the ability to burn anyone one-on-one. She anticipates the flow and already knows her next move before the ball even touches her stick. She has excellent field vision and decision making, plays above X and has the ability to feed the ball with pressure on. “Kit Kat” is an excellent runner with a lightning first step combined with next level speed, always in top physical shape and knows how to win the big game -2019 State Champion Field hockey player. Cerrato’s progression is directly attributed to countless of hours of training by some of the best Coaches in the area including Gail Lozado, Porter, Molfetta and the entire staff at Legacy Lacrosse. Katelyn is the 14th Cobra on the current 2021’ team to be recruited to play lacrosse at the next level and the 1st Cobra to take on 2 sports at the collegiate level. The Canadian Cobra flies South! Commits to University of Albany!
by posted 10/24/2020

Midfielder Emma Torkoff (2022’) – Ontario Canada: has announced that she has committed to the University of Albany to play lacrosse at the next level. Torkoff’s size brings immediate attention and her abilities have attracted coaches from coast to coast trying to land the nearly 6’ft Junior... She’s your typical one cut back and get vertical runner, her stride length is that of an athlete six inches taller, churning downhill chewing up large chucks of yardage. She has a long smooth stride that surprises defenders as she goes from point A to B. Attacking the defense is second nature as she makes the tough catch look easy.

Covid 19 has locked Torkoff on the other side of the border with the travel ban, making the most of it she has focused her efforts to the United Lacrosse League, the Top Prospects Showcase where she was recently selected Tournament Team All Star in the 2021 division and training with her club team, the Orillia Lady Kings.  She came off a pre Covid season as the 2nd leading scorer for all rookies in the Ontario Woman’s Lacrosse League U19A and was named Rookie of the Year.

In 2018 co-captained the Team Ontario squad that won the National Championship taking MVP honours of the game.

Coach Katie Rowan is getting one tough competitor that loves meeting whatever challenge is put in front of her. Emma is the 2nd player taken from the talented 2022’ Cobra Kai team to play D1 lacrosse. Watch out for the “Canadian Cobra” when she flies south to suit up for the 20th ranked “Great Danes” in the fall of 2022’.

Cobra 2021' -National Team of the Week on Great performance!
by posted 11/25/2019

The 2021' Cobra Kai team has been named "National Team of the week" by US Club Lacrosse after another amazing performace at IWLCA Presidents Cup in Wellington, Florida. Team 21' has been a on a collision course this Fall playing some of the Top teams in the Country and finding success. Big wins recently over #11 Summit elite CO, #13 Florida Select, #20 TLC red, and #24 Sound Lacrosse has the Cobras right in the mix of it. While some other teams are playing "B" teams out in the distance to manufacture wins and keep the parents on "Auto Pay", the Cobra Kai will always point the girls -win or lose- straight at the Number 1 spot and where the college recruiting happens. We Thank the players and familes for clearing your schedules week after week to battle it out with us Cobra Kai style.

Team 22' is on the Move - 4 Big Wins and a Bracket Championship on the main stage at The Champions Cup this weekend has attracted a lot of eyes to the young Cobras. With a team stacked with talent, these girls showed that they can play with anybody and have the parent support to take it all they way.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
